THe challenge
Arwen had here song Slow and Steady and was looking for content to continue creating her brand and to bring the story of the song to the visual medium.
THe Process
This is a soft spoken song and it was very important that music video reflected that and allowed the audience to truly listen to the song and understand the story its telling. We decided to go with this idea of each frame is a painting. Everything is on a tripod and is either a static shot or a slow zoom shot. Doing this allows for the audience to sit with the lyrics, just as they are sitting with every shot. As they are analyzing all the details of the shot, just as they would a painting, they can analyze the lyrics that are being spoken.
THe Result
Because of all this work, Arwen had a film that reflected her song and told the story of her brand as an artist.
